Farrell (9-1) vs. Sharpsville (9-2)

The Game:

Saturday, November 19th, 2022

Kickoff: 7:00 pm – Wilmington

District X AA Title Game

Saturday’s championship will be a rematch of a game played on October 7th, where Farrell rolled to a 48-7 victory. Kylon Wilson rushed for 161 yards and three touchdowns, and Kabron Smith also rushed for three scores while completing 2-of-6 passes for 29 yards. Brandon Chambers ran for 104 yards. Sharpsville managed only 29 yards of offense. Caullin Summers completed 5-of-15 passes for 47 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

This season: (9-1) Overall – (7-0) League

Steeler Notes:

Since joining District X in 2006, Farrell has won nine District X titles – two state titles and three trips to Hershey. The Steelers are gunning for another appearance in the state championship game this season which will be at Cumberland Valley High School.

Sharpsville Blue Devils

Head Coach – Paul Piccirilli

League – District X Region 3

This season: (9-2) Overall – (5-2) League 

Blue Devil Notes: 

Sharpsville is looking to win its first District X title since 2014. The Blue Devils also district titles in 2012, 2011, 2004, 2001, 2000, 1999, and 1997. Sharpsville won the 1997 state championship over Riverside 10-7.
