Jason Ellman enters the season this year with blazing speed and great hands. Head coach Jeff Root knows it’s important to get the ball into his speedsters hands.
“Jason Ellman is simply a game changer and one of the fastest players when we step on the field every Friday night. He was a State Level qualifier in the 100 Meter and that speed shows in every game on Friday night. He clocked in at 4.51 on the camp tours this past summer and with that great speed he brings amazing hands, he catches the ball at its highest point, he has a huge catch window and runs routes almost perfectly. His YAC is amazing as his speed makes him a game changer, often running away from defenders. He is tough, physical and plays with passion. He is a 1st team all-region receiver with 52 catches for 972 yards and 12 TD receptions. He will be fun to watch his Senior season”.
