Hello I am a class of 2021 athlete at Pottsville Area High School. I work hard in the off-season to perfect my craft in the sport I love which is football. I plan on playing college football as well as furthering my education in sports science.
Who is your favorite sports star and why?
Brian Dawkins because he always gave 110% effort every play. I also love how he was a leader on the field.
Why do you play football?
I have played organized football since I was 5 years old. The main reason I play is because it is truly one of the greatest team sports. If everyone isn’t doing their job the team will not be successful.
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
The Program – I love the intensity of the players on the football field.
What cartoon character do you think your head coach most resembles.
Sponge Bob Square pants because he makes practice fun, but also gets mad from time to time. I’m sure he would love crabby patties as well.
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
Mom usually is going nuts with the cow bell and my dad saves his criticisms for after the game.
Tell everyone something about you that would make them laugh out loud:
I hated football my first year and tried coming up with excuses not to practice. My mom was the toughest on my making me get on the field and practice.
What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
Breaking my retainer making a tackle and taking myself out of the game.
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
My grandparents on my mother’s side. They always been there at the majority of my sporting events as much as possible.
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
Playing Xbox and chatting with my friends online. It is a great way to escape from every day stresses.
