_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Why do you play football?
Football was introduced to me at a very young age and ever since then I have been in love with the game. The energy, atmosphere, and the lessons you learn from football make it more than just a game, it makes it a passion and that’s what I love about football.
What has been your best memory from football so far?
My best memory in football would be beating Schuylkill Haven last season. It was the final game of the regular season and our team had played the best we did all year. It truly showed all of the potential we have as a young team and what we can do in these upcoming years.
Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?
My favorite pro athlete is the late Kobe Bryant. The way Kobe played basketball was incredible and I love his game, but the thing I love about Kobe the most is his mentality. He never wanted to quit and always looked to get better no matter how hard it hurt and that is truly amazing.
Is there any specific person you look up to and use as a role model?
I look up to my father, my brother, my grandfather, and my two uncles Bob and Chuck. They all have went through the Minersville football program and have laid the pathway for me. I strive everyday to be as great as each and every single one of them were on and off the field. I couldn’t be more thankful to have them in my life.
What would be your desired major in college?
Education or Physical Therapist
Coming off a year with COVID struggles, what do you think this year will be like?
I think this year will be a lot more exciting and energetic . Finally having fans in the stadium and not having to worry about getting shut down due to covid will definitely be a relief, I think our team will benefit from this and we will have a great year.
Favorite play to run?
All verts
Favorite pre-game meal?
Palermo’s spaghetti
Favorite sports movie?
When the Game Stands Tall
Sport you’d love to play but can’t?
Volleyball
Most embarrassing sports moment?
My first varsity snap as a starter I got a false start, that was not the best thing to start my career with.
What are you looking forward to most this year?
I’m looking forward to seeing our team reach our potential. Our team is very young and we have a ton of potential which I definitely think we will achieve this year.
