PREVIEW: Here come the Bulldogs folks !! That’s right, both teams squaring off this Friday night at Lehighton’s Multi-Purpose Stadium are named the Bulldogs. Tri-Valley and Northern Lehigh, the Battle of the Bulldogs should be one heck of a game as both teams come into this game sporting 10-1 records. This is the first meeting between the two teams in football. Tri-Valley enters the contest winners last weekend in the District XI Class 1A Semi-Final against a very tough, gritty Minersville team 24 to 13. Northern Lehigh comes in winners of their last 6 games, including their victory over Mahanoy Area last weekend 30 to 7. Northern Lehigh held the Golden Bears, who averaged over 275 yards a game, to just 83 total yards. Can the Bulldogs, Northern Lehigh do it again against another gritty, tough team in Tri-Valley ?
