LET’S GET TO KNOW BRANDON
Why do you play football?
I love to hit and to work towards a goal with my teammates that have the same goal as me.
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Kobe Bryant because he always had the right mindset while trying to be the best.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
My favorite play was when I forced a fumble against Southern Lehigh in the district title game and we recovered it. It’s my favorite because it helped the team get the ball back while we were down to comeback and win the game.
What was last years season like for you?
It was definitely a new experience with the coaching staff and I liked it a lot because I got to hear many different things from different coaches that helped me learn more.
What are your goals for this coming season?
I wanna win a championship and keep the standard at Whitehall.
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
Trey Tremba was the best player.
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
When Penn state upset Ohio state on the blocked kick, because it was unexpected and showed me that no team is ever to good to be beaten.
What would you do to improve the recruiting process?
Describe what the perfect teammate is
Someone that doesn’t think of themselves during the game and they play for their teammates. Stats are cool but the one that should matter most to everyone is the win column.
Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community
I think it is great for the community because it brings everyone together to support their classmates or their community. I feel that this makes people feel more connected and gives people something to look forward to on Friday nights.
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
I would love to win a state championship, because then I would get to know that I got to play for the longest possible time with my teammates in my last season.
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My mentor is my coach Andy Marino and George Cowitch because they didn’t just teach sports, but also that you can’t just be average in today’s world or you will get stuck behind everyone else.
What is your favorite practice drill? What is your least favorite practice drill?
I like to do 7 on 7 things because it helps me get better in coverage and it’s also just playing. My least favorite is the little technique with hand placement, but it is still some of the most important.
Preseason Two a Days are:
Needed and more helpful than most people understand.
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
My little brother Connor because we have our handshake before my games and he also is always hyping me up.
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
I like to relax and hangout with friends.
What is your favorite play to run?
I love running my safety blitzes
is a hot dog a sandwich? If not, then why?
No cause it’s a hot dog.
Best thing you ever got from a teammate? Why?
My teammate Carter troxell always has a place for me to workout with him.
Best Pizza topping?
Bacon
What is your favorite vacation destination?
Ocean city Maryland
Do you remember what the first football game you saw was?
My big brother when he played little league and I remember wanting to go in the whole time.
