Carter is a 2-way player for us and is an impact player on special teams. Carter’s preparation habits are excellent and plays with great effort. We look forward to seeing Carter take the next step as a player and leader.
GETTING TO KNOW CARTER:
What is the best part of being a student-athlete at Whitehall High School ?
The best part of being a student athlete at Whitehall is the constant support from the community. Everyone around you wants to see you succeed and it can help give me some extra motivation when I need it.
How long have you been playing football(any level) ?
I’ve been playing football since I was 5 years old, so this year will be my 13th year playing.
Of all the road games you have played, which stadium had the best overall atmosphere, along with what made it so good ?
Personally I think Easton has the best atmosphere, from the band, to the fans, you can really see their community’s love for the game.
If the game is on the line, do you want to be on offense or defense ? Explain
I’d definitely rather be on defense because when I’m on defense, I know that I can control the outcome of what happens by giving 110% effort.
As an athlete, what has been your biggest achievement ?
My biggest achievement so far has to be earning my starting spot since Sophomore year.
What was the high point of the 2023 season ?
The high point of the 2023 season was winning districts.
What are you going to miss the most from the class of 2024 ?
I’m going to miss my teammates the most and the bond I built with all of them, since we’ve all been playing together since we were young.
What are your goals for the 2024 season ?
My goals this season might seem crazy, but I want to be the best linebacker in the state. I want to show everyone what’s possible with hard work and dedication.
Who is your favorite sports star and why ?
My favorite sports star is Saquon Barkley, because he’s a genuine guy who works for everything he gets.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most ? Explain:
My favorite play from the past season has to be the second defensive play of the game against Allen. It was a screen pass, and as soon as the guy caught the ball I hit him, which made him fumble and turned into a scoop and score touchdown for me.
Who is the best player(s) you have ever lined up against and what team did they play for ?
I think the best player I’ve ever lined up against was probably Trey Tremba of Parkland.
What stadium, (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game ?
I’d love to visit Penn State to see a game up there, because of the game-day atmosphere that is almost unmatched anywhere else.
What is your favorite Pro Sports team(any sport) ? Explain:
My favorite pro sports team is the Eagles because, ever since I was young, most of my family has always liked the Eagles.
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why ?
My favorite game I ever watched was the 2017 Super Bowl when Tom Brady and the Patriots came back from a 25 point deficit to win.
What sports movie could you watch every day if you had to pick one, and why ?
I could watch any of the Rocky movies everyday because they’re super entertaining and have a great meaning behind them.
Name one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?
I’d love to try kicking a field goal.
Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
I think volleyball is pretty fun, but it’s during track season so I can’t play it.
What is your most embarrassing sports moment ?
It was probably dropping 2 picks against Liberty my Sophomore year.
When you aren’t playing, practicing, or training for sports, what is your go to activity, and why ?
I like hanging out at the pool and being with friends because it’s a fun way to relax.
Which one, Sheetz, Wawa, or Rutters ? Explain:
Wawa by far, they have the best food out of the 3 and it’s not even close.
What is your favorite vacation destination ?
I like Cape May in New Jersey.
Tell us something that you have a fear of ?
I have a fear of getting injured when I play.
Favorite Fast Food/Burger place and why ?
My favorite fast food place has got to be Chick-Fil-A because they have great chicken and the best fries.
Have you ever been to a professional sports game, which ones ?
No I haven’t.
NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAAF, NFL, Which league is the best and why ?
I think NCAAF is the best because, it puts some of the greatest players from all around the country onto one team competing against each other.
What is your favorite video game, on mobile and or console ?
My favorite game is Fortnite.
What toppings go on your favorite pizza ?
I’d probably put Pepperoni on the pizza.

Airplane to Hawaii.

I’d like to be successful in the future in anything I try.
Location you think would be the best place to live(ie: island, mountains, city, etc) ? Explain why:
I think the best place to live would be the place with the best football. I think a community that has good football is more tightly knit than most other places and can lead to great opportunities.
