COACH SAYS: Caden will be a 3 year starter. Caden is a versatile quarterback and is productive as a running QB and a passer. Each year he has progressed allowing the teams offense to grow within his abilities. Caden has a good football IQ, understands defensives, and will continue to make gains.

GETTING TO KNOW MORE ABOUT CADEN:

What is the best part of being a student-athlete for the Spartans ?
I would say the best part about being a student athlete at my school is the support we get from everyone in the District from Administration to all the fans that come out to support us.

Why do you play football ?
I play football because I love everything about it, the atmosphere, the competition, and everything that goes into it starting in June all the way to December.

How long have you been playing football(any level) ?
I’ve been playing football for about 12 years now.

It’s GameDay !! What are you looking forward to the most ?
Definitely the locker room getting ready to play for the guys around me.

Of all the road games you have played, which stadium had the best overall atmosphere, along with what made it so good ?
I would say Lehighton, just because that’s where our District championship game is every year and it’s always packed.

If the game is on the line, do you want to be on offense or defense ? Explain:
Definitely offense, I love having the ball in our hands and us being able to score a touchdown to win the game.

As an athlete, what has been your biggest achievement ?
I would say beating Notre Dame Green Pond at their place in overtime to send us to the District championship.

What was the high point of the 2024 season ?
Winning in overtime in the District semifinals on the last play of the game.

What are your goals for the 2025 season ?
State Championship.

What are you going to miss the most from the class of 2025 ?
All of the friendships I built with every one of the seniors.

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like the most, and why ?
I would say Chris Thompson, he helps me out a lot with football and teaches me about the game not just doing workouts.

Who is your favorite sports star and why ?
Joe Burrow is my favorite athlete just because of the way he carries himself and how calm he is in any situation.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most ? Explain:
When we ran a quarterback counter to win the game in overtime to send us to the District championship.

Who is the best player(s) you have ever lined up against and what team did they play for ?
Andrew Olesh, Southern Lehigh.

What stadium, (HS/College/Pro) would you love to visit for a game ?
I would love to go to Neyland Stadium in Tennessee.

What is your favorite Pro Sports team(any sport) ? Explain:
My favorite team is the Seattle Seahawks because my dad is a fan, I’ve been a fan since I was little.

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why ?
My favorite game I’ve ever watched was when the Seahawks beat the Broncos in the super bowl.

What sports movie could you watch every day if you had to pick one, and why ?
Rudy.

Name one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?
I would love to be able to play Division 1 football at a power 4 school.

Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
I would love to be able to box.

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
When I went to threw the ball in my first varsity start and the ball completely slipped out of my hand.

When you aren’t playing, practicing, or training for sports, what is your go to activity, and why ?
I love to fish because it’s relaxing and calm.

Which one, Sheetz, Wawa, or Rutters ? Explain:
Definitely Wawa, they have the best food.

What is your favorite vacation destination ?
I love San Antonio Texas.

If you were handed a lot of money, what would be the first thing you would do with it ?
Definitely get a new car.

Tell us something that you have a fear of ?
Heights.

Favorite Fast Food/Burger place and why ?
Raising Canes, they have the best chicken, their sauce is really good and their Texas toast is really good.

Have you ever been to a professional sports game, which ones ?
Yes, I’ve been to a couple Seahawks games, tons of Phillies games and a couple 76ers games.

NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAAF, NFL, Which league is the best and why ?
NCAAF by far, no other league can match the atmosphere of a college football game.

What is your favorite video game, on mobile and or console ?
Fortnite

What toppings go on your favorite pizza ?
Pepperoni

Airplane, Boat, or Vehicle(motorcycles included), how would you travel and to where ?
Airplane to Abu Dhabi.

Name one thing in life(NOT SPORTS RELATED) you would like to achieve:
I would like to be able to travel the world and see different places.

Location you think would be the best place to live(ie: island, mountains, city, etc) ? Explain why:
I would like to live in the mountains just because it’s calm and places to hunt and fish.
