COLTON CAN SIT IN A POCKET, THROW TO HIS RIGHT AND LEFT ON THE RUN, CAN SCRAMBLE FOR EXTRA YARDS AND MAKE OFF-BALANCE THROWS. DURING THE LAST TWO STATE PLAYOFF RUNS HE HAS HAD TO MAKE SEVERAL 3RD AND 4TH AND LONG THROWS LATE IN THE GAME FOR COMEBACK WINS. Why do you play football?
I play football because I truly love and enjoy the game. A lot of people just see the surface details of it, but the game is truly a chess match. Finding the right play to counteract a defense is a beauty a lot of people fail to appreciate. I thank my dad for getting me into the game and helping me become the best player I can be.
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Patrick Mahomes because I love how he changed the game and didn’t let other people try to change how he goes about playing the game.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
My favorite play I remember the most is a 4th and 5 in the state semifinal with 20 seconds left and we were down by 4. I threw a comeback to my teammate Darius Roman on the sideline to set up the go ahead touchdown.
What was last years season like for you?
Last years season was a dream come true because we won a state championship. Obviously that is awesome, but the best part was winning it with the kids I grew up playing with, and my dad.
What are your goals for this coming season?
The goals for this upcoming season is to win a league, district, and a state championship.
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
Logan Steele, Shamokin
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
The Rams vs Chiefs in 2019, it was a great battle of high level offenses.
Describe what the perfect teammate is
The perfect teammate is one who always is gonna have your back no matter the score, or what you have done in the game. They will keep you accountable and push you to be the best possible player you can be.
Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community
Football is great for a community because it gives kids a sense of belonging and brings a community together once a week to celebrate a teams hard work.
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Kick an extra point, I think that would be pretty cool.
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My dad is my mentor and the person I want to be like because he is very hard working at everything he does. He puts in the work and when success comes he stays humble. His knowledge for the game of football is spectacular and he took a team who no one thought they could make a run in the playoffs, to a state championship. I aspire to be the man he is today.

Fun, you get the opportunity to get better while having fun and bonding with teammates.
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
Probably basketball with teammates, it helps us bond and have fun.
What is your favorite play to run?
I love a mills concept vs quarters, puts the safety in a tough situation where they can’t be right.
is a hot dog a sandwich? If not, then why?
A hot dog is a sandwich because it is a piece of meet in between bread.
What is your favorite vacation destination?
I love Oak Island in North Carolina.
