EAST STROUDSBURG- Coach Matt Walters knew how key this game was for his East Stroudsburg South Cavaliers Saturday night against unbeaten Pleasant Valley Bears at the Purple Pit,that he called for an onside kick to start the game, which the Cavs recovered, and cashed in on the drive converting on a forth-and-twelve from the Bears 22 as quarterback Bobby McClosky connected with Dylan Osorio across the middle, absorbing a big hit and finding his way into the end zone to grab a quick 6-0 lead at the 8:43 mark on their way to a dominate 36-14 win over a much improved Bears squad on a fantastic night in Monroe County.

At the 4:53 mark of the second quarter, Welge, looked like he was stood up at the line of scrimmage, but he kept his legs moving and burst through on his way to a 46 yard score and a 22-0 lead over a team who had only given up a safety in their previous two games.
