When you look over the Emmaus running backs offer sheet it isn’t hard to tell that Sone Ntoh has was it takes to be a great football player. One of the key ingredients to being one is the ability to understand the game. With offers from the likes of Colgate, Dartmouth, Yale, Princeton and a whole slew of others it’s easy to say he’s got that key. Today, Ntoh announced his choice of Harvard to continue his educational and football careers.
WPA: why did you choose Harvard
Sone: I chose Harvard because it was just an opportunity that I couldn’t pass up. I realized that there are kids who would kill to go to that school and I just had to take advantage of what I was given
WPA: who was your biggest influence at Harvard who recruited you?
Sone: The whole staff stayed on me during the process so they made it easy on me once they offered
WPA: what do your parents think of your decision?
Sone: My parents told me that I can’t go wrong with Harvard. There’s just too many benefits to going there
WPA: what are they getting in player like you? what position will you play?
Sone: In a player like me they are getting a hard nose back who will wear a defense down in the fourth quarter but is athletic enough to run routes from the backfield and slot
WPA: why commit early?
Sone: I knew I wanted to get it done before the season started and I didn’t want to wait and have the door close on me
WPA: Do you know what you’d like to study?
Sone: I’m still undecided on what I would like to study
WPA: What do you think is the most exciting thing about Harvard
Sone: The most exciting thing about Harvard is how they can change your life. Their alumni base and networking when it comes to jobs is incredible and in Coach Murphy’s years at Harvard every player has left with a ring
“I’m just blessed to see this day. It was a stressful process but it was truly a blessing and I wouldn’t change a thing” ……Sone Ntoh
