Northampton storms back after having -5 yards of total offense at the half to beat East Stroudsburg South. Parkland, Emmaus, and Bethlehem Freedom are now the favorites in the South.

Northampton 21, East Stroudsburg South 20

Northampton storms back from a 20-0 deficit to beat East Stroudsburg South 21 to 20. It was a 37-yard pass from Cooper King to Jaelen Richards with 4:45 remaining that won it for the Kids. Northampton goes to 6-0 and could run the table. Although, rival Whitehall awaits in week #10.

Parkland 27, Whitehall 7

Parkland plays football in the second half and runs past the Zephyrs 27-7. Parkland goes to 4-1 and Whitehall falls to 3-2 on the year. Dahlir Adams carried the ball 41 times for 179 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win for the Trojans.

Nazareth 17, Bethlehem Liberty 6

Defensive struggle leads to a 17-6 victory by Nazareth. Tyler Rohn runs the ball 26 times for 132 yards and a touchdown in the win. Nazareth improves to 4-2 and 2-2 in the Division.

Bethlehem Freedom 42, Allentown Central Catholic 7

Freedom blasts Allentown Central Catholic 42-7. Deandre Crawford carried the ball 18 times for 107 yards and 3 touchdowns. Crawford is the EPC’s 2nd leading rusher with 532 yards on the year.

Emmaus 41, Bethlehem Catholic 3

Bethlehem Catholic struggles to score points in Emmaus’s 41-3 blowout. One of the most disappointing teams in the EPC this year is Bethlehem Catholic. They fall to 2-4 on the year. Senior running back Jared Groller scored 3 touchdowns for the Hornets.

Pocono Mountain West 51, East Stroudsburg North 8

North is just struggling to score this season. Although they got their second touchdown of the season, North loses 13 in a row. Things don’t get easier as they host Stroudsburg this week.

Easton 44, William Allen 8

Allen’s Clarence Watkins had 15 carries for 83 yards in this one. This one was never in doubt for the Red Rovers who only threw 6 passes all game.

Pleasant Valley 42, Pocono Mountain East 8

The option attack of Pleasant Valley is way too much for Pocono Mountain East. Robert Papaleo scored 4 times, as Pleasant Valley routed Pocono Mountain East.

Louis E. Dieruff 33, Stroudsburg 14

Dieruff wins its first game of the season in a big manner. Dieruff had lost 8 straight to the Mounties. Dieruff’s Senior quarterback Jovan Rodriquez was 13-for-19 passing for 239 yards and two touchdowns and ran 14 times for 49 yards and a score on the ground. Christopher Sell had 105 yards receiving and ran for a touchdown and caught a TD pass.
