Indians catch fire in 2nd half stave off Eagles 14-10 on Senior night.

Two halves where two completely different games were played, at least that’s what it felt like. As always I’m here to talk about it.

The Indians came out in the first half, still visibly affected by the heartbreaking loss they endured a week ago against UDA. The first quarter would end at just 7-0.  Via an Ian Bates touchdown Line mountain would dictate the pace of the game up and down the field. Quarter number two would entail more of the same, as (LM) Brayden Boyer sent one through the uprights that would’ve been good from about sixty yards(1:19 2nd). That would leave it 10-0 as the two teams made their way to the locker room.

“I couldn’t tell you what it was that had us down,  but we came out in the second half ready to play,” said Indians Senior Makih Hunt. When asked of his team’s first half struggle, and come out to play they did.

The defense started clicking, and the run game went right along with it. Seth Laub forced his way into the end zone from a yard out with 2:44 remaining in the third. The Indians would take the lead via a Kanagy Sneak just 5 minutes later , and that’s when the Indians would take over for good.
