Thursday night football. While the Northern lights were lighting up the sky all across PA, the Spartans and Luke Miller were lighting up the scoreboard on their way to a 38-14 win over the Eagles. Miller had three tds on the night.

Here’s the highlights by @CCHastings1863, PLENTY of pics by Bill Snook below:

The Eagles got the scoring started when Brady Strause hit a 79 yard pitch and catch to Gaige Guers and it was 7-0 Eagles with 5:28 to play in the first quarter.

A 38 yard pass from QB Camden Mengel to Landen Smith sets up a 31 yard TD pass to John Mogish that tied the score at 7-7 with 2:22 left in the second quarter.

Highlight reel TD grab by Luke Miller from Mengel put North Schuylkill up 14-7  with 0:30 left in the half.

7 yard TD blast for Miller put the Spartans up 21-7 with 8:31 left in the third quarter.

Tyler Stahley had a nice 54 yard td to keep it close, 21-14, with 5:23 left in the third.

Luke Miller with another amazing catch help to put the Spartans up 24-14 with a 28 yard field goal by Gavin Mentzer.

The Spartan defense came up big with this interception by Julian Nelson to halt an Eagle Drive.

Blue Mountain swiss army knife Gaige Guers returned the favor with a pick of his own.

Miller had a crazy game! This pick 6 made it a 31-14 Spartan lead with 9:31 remaining in the game.

Kolton Joyce finished the scoring with a 1 yard run.

Blue Mountain drops to 6-2, will face Pottsville next week. The Spartans move to 5-3 with Lehighton waiting in the wings.
