Darville and Linton Make Big 33 Team
Two District XI players were named to the Big 33 team. Dylan Darville (WR, CB) All-State Wide Reciever, and Nigel Linton (RB) All-State Running Back. Darville is 6’1, and 180 lbs out of Emmaus High School. He is a speedy receiver who will definitely be looking to make some plays from the slot position. He had 57 receptions for 1,025 yards, and 12 receiving touchdowns. He also made some plays on the defensive side of the ball picking off 5 passes this season. Darville will be continuing his football career at the Division 1 level as he is signed to The University of Yale.
After careful consideration, I am proud and grateful to announce that I have committed to Yale University. Thank you so much to everyone who helped me along this journey. 🔵⚪️ @yalefootball @CoachRenoYale @coachjjanderson @SSmith_II @EmmausFootball @harfair #team150 pic.twitter.com/N4X9KpScAY

Nigel Linton is a very talented Running Back out of Whitehall High School. He was named to the 5a All-State team this season, as he helped lead Whitehall to a District XI 5a Championship. In the opening round of the PIAA State Tournament, he rushed for 149 yards and 3 touchdowns helping Whitehall secure a State Playoff win over Delaware Valley. On the season he had 1,398 yards and 19 rushing touchdowns. He will look to show off his speed and his ability to make people miss in the open field. Nigel is still looking for a place to call home, as he is still uncommitted in the class of ’23.
