Outlook:
With the Philly Pub league shut down, it almost seems criminal that we may not get to see this star studded team on a football field this year. Led by one of the top recruits in the nation, DE Elijah Jeudy, the Vikings have EIGHT players with Division 1 offers. Returning a team that went 11-2, Coach Clarks first year at the helm certainly would have been an interesting, and competitive year in the always tough District 12 section.
With their front line on offense pretty much intact, breaking in a QB to replace Charles Britt won’t be hard, especially with ODU bound rb Jon-Luke Peaker carrying the rock. Add in Tyreek Chappel on the edge as an always dependable receiver, the Viking offense looks stout.
Defensively, it’s Elijah Jeudy that leads the way. Ken Talley on the other end, Yobouet in the middle and McLaurin and Chappell defending the defensive backfield make up a darn good defense.
As we said, it’ll be a darn shame if things don’t change. We’re hoping someone drops another bomb and let’s this star studded team on the field.
