Qadir returns to George Washington for his senior year as a 3rd year starting linebacker. Coach Brasche states that “Qadir has also played a bunch of snaps at full back and tight end on offense each season to help the team. He’s a constant participant in the weight room and a team leader”.

Why do you play football?

I play football because I grew up playing the sport and have loved the game since I was little.

GPA? 

My junior year thus far projects to a 2.5.

What if any offers/interest have you generated?

Currently I have 0 offers or interest from schools.

What do you plan to major in upon enrolling in college? 

I want to double major in sports media & athletic Director.

Favorite class? 

US History

Favorite all-time athlete and why? 

Ray Lewis because I loved how he played the game and how he lead his team.

Favorite moment of your HS career thus far? 

The first game of the season beating Frankford and getting revenge on them. That was a great way to start off the season.

How did the 2022 season go for you? 

I feel like I had a good 2022 season, I just wish me and my team would’ve made it a little farther.

2023 individual & team goals? 

Individually I want to go all public and all state and team goals are to win the public league championship and then the state title.

Favorite all-time football game to watch? 

Super Bowl 47 when the Baltimore Ravens defeated the San Francisco 49ers.

Favorite meal?

Chicken & rice

Favorite play to run & why? 

My favorite play to run is a blitz up the A-Gap. It’s my favorite play because as a MLB I love action and I love to hit.

Outside of sports what are your hobbies? 

I love to play video games and spend time with my family.

What scares you the most?

One of my fears is heights.

Who is the most inspirational person in your life? 

My mom, dad & uncle.

Pregame music to get you hype before games?

Lil Baby, Meek Mill, NBA Youngboy & some Philly artists.

Favorite teammate & why? 

Last year Shomari Richards was my favorite teammate because whenever we needed a big play in the game he showed up & delivered.

Did you play little league football and if so for what organization?

I played for the Frankford Chargers.

What is something people should know about George Washington High as a school, football program & the coaches? 

One thing people should know is that you will be treated like family once you join the program & the coaches are going to be very hard on you because they want the best for you.

Cheesesteak or Hoagie & what store has the best sandwich?

Cheesesteaks all day & any papi store in Philly is my choice for best sandwich.
