Why do you play football?

I play football because it’s an outlet for me. It helps me stay focused and avoid things that won’t benefit my future. I fell in love with the game when I realized I didn’t need anyone else to motivate me, I was willing to go out and work on my own no matter the time.

It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most? 

Competing with my brothers and giving maximum effort every snap. I just love the energy we bring together when it’s time to compete.

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?

DeVonta Smith, he showed me that being underweight doesn’t matter. It’s all about heart and how bad you want it.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

My freshman year I ran a drag route and scored. Before I got in, the DB hit me hard. It was like my welcome moment to high school football. I’ll never forget that.

What was last years season like for you?

It was a good year. Im proud of myself for the plays I was able to make and the Energy my teammates brought also how they accepted me coming in as a transfer.

What are your goals for this coming season?

My main goal is to be a better teammate , increase my impact on both offense and defense, and help lead my team go on a playoff run. We’re focused on making a statement this season.

Philadelphia Eagles

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?

Patriots vs Falcons Super Bowl which was the greatest comeback ever and Alabama vs Georgia in 2018 because Tua came in and proved he belonged.

What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?

Friday Night Lights, it shows the pressure of football and how you gotta deal with setbacks and not fold.

If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?

“Do not put your head down , the game is not over”

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

Score a game winning pick six in college. That’s a moment I’ve always dreamed about. I’m working every day for it and I truly believe it’s going to happen, I’m manifesting it.

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?

My Father. He never gives up on anything, always finishes what he starts, and keeps a positive mindset no matter the situation.

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?

A DB ripped my shirt while I was blocking, so I had to play the whole game with a torn long sleeve.

If you could only drive one car for the rest of your life, what would it be?

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?

I go on walks, listen to music, or just clean up. It helps me clear my head.

What is your favorite football memory to date?

My 8th grade playoff run when we won the game. I didn’t get a lot of touches that season and we had a negative record , but that game meant everything because we all came together and played our best football when it mattered most. It showed me what real team football feels like and made me appreciate every moment on the field even more.
