Name: Mikal Davis Jr.
Position: QB
Team: Imhotep Charter

Mayhem: What’s your greatest accomplishment as a football player?
Mikal: My greatest accomplishment as a football player is my development and my growth.
Mayhem: What’s a time you can remember, when you overcame adversity as a football player?
Mikal: A time I can remember when i overcame adversity as a player is when me and my team had to play strath haven around the same time last year and our bus didn’t come to pick us up until 6 and our game was at 7 so we really didn’t get a warm up and we went out there and won 36-0.
Mayhem: Do you have experience playing other sports? If so, what’s your favorite sport besides football?
Mikal: Yes, i have experience playing others sports besides football. I played basketball and baseball. My favorite sports besides football is baseball.
Mayhem: What are your future plans after high school?
Mikal: My plans after high school are to go play Division 1 football.
About the big Game:
Mayhem: Do you have a pregame routine? If so what is it?
Mikal: I wouldn’t really say i have a pregame routine I just sit down and talk to myself.
Mayhem: What feelings arise when thinking about being one of the top four teams in the whole state and if you win being able to play for a state championship?
Mikal: My feelings are the same i’ve been here before i have 1 goal and that is to win a state championship and every team that is trying to stop me are just in the way.
Mayhem: If you win on Friday night, who you guys bumpin in the locker room after?
Mikal: We win friday night, me and the guys are bumping G herbs who run it.
Mayhem: What advice would you give incoming freshman when it comes to your playing experience?
Mikal: advice i will give incoming freshman is to always listen first before you give your POV and also keep grinding.
