Head Coach Stan Yanoski says “Jordan will be a 2 year starter at QB and a 2 year starter at FS for our team. He was our 2nd leading tackler as a sophomore at FS”.

LET’S GET TO KNOW JORDAN!

Why do you play football?

I play football because of the impact my teammates put on the game for me. I had some good friends to encourage me throughout my whole career and they helped me get better. Yes I play to win and play in college but the reason I stay is because of my team.

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?

I really like Marcus Mariota. In college he was a great athlete to look up to and take notes on. He was a great athlete during his college career but he was an even better person.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

The play I will always remember is my very first touchdown pass. I will remember it always because it made me so happy and it made me love one of the positions I play.

What was last years season like for you?

Last years season was a big learning experience. We went 2-8 but I feel it helped me and my team to know the feeling of losing and how much it sucks. It made me work even harder to achieve greatness for this upcoming season.

What are your goals for this coming season?

Some goals I have is to have a better season than last year and to win my district which will be tough because we have some good competition but I know if we continue to work hard enough we can do it.

Who is the best player you ever lined up against?

I think the best player I have ever lined up against is London Montgomery. He is a very good athlete with sharp and quick moves and it is very hard to bring him down.

What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?

The one I would love to visit is Autzen Stadium which I already had the chance to visit in 2018.

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?

Tennessee Titans

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?

2015 Oregon vs Florida State. I just really liked how the whole game went and would be the game to make Oregon go to the National Championship

Describe what the perfect teammate is

Someone who is not just a great athlete but a great person. Someone who wants you to succeed and get better. Someone who helps who you out if you make a mistake.

Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community

Football I feel brings a community together. Everyone comes to see their kids play on Friday nights and is just fun to watch.

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

Make it to the Nfl

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?

My father because he wants the best for me and I know he will always be up my butt to push me to be great.

What is your favorite practice drill? What is your least favorite practice drill?

Preseason Two a Days are: 

In my opinion, I like two a days because it helps get conditioned for the year but it brings the team together.

Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?

One of my Qb coaches who’s name is Ryan Runco. He was always there to watch me play even when I was a little kid playing on the Olyphant Lions. He wants to see me succeed and wants me to break his records that he still holds to this day at Mid Valley.

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?

I like to spend time with my friends and family because it could be a good time.

What is your favorite football memory to date?

Winning the Super bowl in 2018 while I was on the little league team Olyphant Lions

What is your favorite play to run?

I love to run the flood concept
