Coach Watson says “Ben will be a 3 year starter at left tackle. He is a very smart football player that works very hard to be great. He has put on some good strength this off-season and should be dominant on both sides of the football. We look for him to be a leader on and off the field”.

Why do you play football?
I have enjoyed watching and playing football for as long as I can remember. Playing highschool football with my childhood friends brings some of the most fun have experienced. I play because I love the sport and memories it makes.
It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most?
Giving it 110% and trying to win some games.
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Ryan Crouser, he sets world records one day and goes fishing the next.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
Yes, last season myself and the left gaurd pancaked a D-lineman at Wilkes Barre Highschool and we ended up fighting over who got the credit for the pancake.
What was last years season like for you?
A learning season full of ups and downs.
What are your goals for this coming season?
Grow as a leader on our team and win some football games.

What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?
Beaver Stadium
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
Pittsburgh Steelers
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
My first highschool game 2 seasons ago. We played Honesdale (our rivals) home as the season opener and we beat them 41-6.
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
Remember the Titans

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Score a touchdown
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My Coach Haupt. He has a good balance of work, family and fun in life. He enjoys every part of his life.

Hockey
What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
Fouling out at a track meet.
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
Hunting or fishing. I love being outside and I enjoy the peacefulness.

Friday game days during the school year

Redskin away from my side or a pitch to my side
