One of the more intriguing athletes in D-2 for 2020 is Berwick’s Blane Cleaver; a 6-3, 215 LB TE-LB who is still growing. The 4.0 GPA Student already nearly 20 offers and is collecting more each week. Most are projecting him as sideline to sideline disrupting inside linebacker. The high energy Bulldog has his sights set on an intensely successful campaign this Fall for the storied Berwick Program.

Let’s Meet Blane!
How long have you played Football

I played flag football for the Miff-Ridge Bandits when I was 5. I didn’t start actually playing tackle football until the third grade. I have grown up in a football family and it has always been a huge part of who I am as a person.</p>

If I am afforded the opportunity to play football at a higher level, it would be a blessing. It is my plan to attend a University of my choice to further my academic and athletic career.

Do you play any other Sports?
I have also played basketball since fourth grade. I dabbled for a few years in baseball, but it was a bit too slow paced for me.

Getting fired up at Coach Lanning’s house and a pre-game trip to Sheetz for a 3 piece chicken nugget, bucket of fries, and and an orange Body Armor

Favorite Place to Play other than at home?
Williamsport- It is where I got my first start as freshman and I was able to play against the talented Treyson Potts.
