#34 Cameron Kiersch Runs down the left sideline for a Danville TD
The Danville Ironmen hosted a Berwick team that was red hot after a huge upset win over the Dallas Mountaineers. Danville shot down the hope of yet other upset fairly quickly.
In what was a packed house at Ironmen Memorial Stadium, the Danville Ironmen were looking to improved to 8-0, and get closer to a perfect season. They did just that tonight.
To no ones surprise, it was 2X all-state WR Carson Persing getting the game started with his 200th career reception. That gave Danville an early 7-0 lead, they never looked back from there

Alongside Persing, it was Ty Stauffer carrying a majority of the offensive load tonight as he found the Endzone twice today.

The Danville Defense was also as advertised. They are averaging a crazy 3.5PPG allowed, including 6 shutouts. Berwick QB Matthew Lonczynski was under distress all night. When he was able to throw it, Danville Ironmen were swarming to the football to get interceptions and pass break-ups.
At the half, Danville stretched it out to a 28-0 lead. The Berwick defense did stiffen up in the 2nd half though. Danville only found the Endzone once while most of their starters played into the 4th quarter. When Danville did get the game to a mercy rule, who else but Carson Persing to seal this one.

For Berwick, it seems like a reality check after a upset last week to Dallas. After all, Danville is one of if not the best team in 3A. By no means is this a shocking score to anyone.
For Danville, offense turned into defense and defense turned into offense. They had no problem moving the ball and had no problem stopping Berwick from moving the ball
