“Harrison will be a 3 year starter and will most likely be one of our captains this year. He’s 6’3, 230lbs and will be looked on for his leadership throughout his senior year. He plays a tremendous DE and OT for us. Harrison is an athlete that leads by his actions. We are looking for big things from him this year as he leads this team.”

Let’s Get to Know Harrison:
Why do you play football ?
I play football because I love the Friday night lights and the friendships I have created.
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY ?
My favorite sports star is Aaron Donald. Aaron Donald is my favorite because, for being undersized, he dominates in the position he plays.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most ? Explain:
My favorite play I remember was my Sophomore year vs Williamsport. The game was all tied up and we were in overtime. We got the ball first and scored right away, but now we had to hold Williamsport. Williamsport had the ball on our 10 yard line. The ball snapped and the quarterback rolled out with his running back blocking for him, and at my Defensive End position, I rolled out with them trying to keep containment. I first shed the running back, then hit the quarterback right before he was about to throw the ball. The ball slipped out of his hands and went right to our outside linebacker Spencer Kishbaugh. Spencer picked the ball and ran it all the way to the other end zone winning the game.
What was last year’s season like for you ?
Last years season started off hot, beating Southern in the first half and putting up a good game against Valley View, both teams who killed us years before. I thought we were definitely on route for district champs. Things took a bad turn and the season didn’t end how I wanted it to with a 5-7 record.
Who is the best player you ever lined up against ?
The best player I have ever lined up against was Magnus Bibla.

What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why ?
My favorite sports movie is The Blindside, because it shows that football can give players who come from nothing the opportunity to become successful.
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen ?
I would love to be moved to TE but I know that my team needs me on the O-Line.
Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
I would love to play Rugby but my school doesn’t offer it.
