Why do you play football?
I play simply because I love it I’ve been playing all my life and it’s done so much for me and I’ve made so many friends through it I just can’t see me being myself if I had never played. I enjoy playing it and the I even love the hours of training that I do for it.
Who is your favorite sports star and why?
I would have to say Jerome Bettis because he’s the reason I got into football I just loved the way he played and picked my number after him.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
My interception against Lakeland at the time we were either tied or down a little with time expiring in the first half Lakeland tried to do a fake punt. Up into this point I hadn’t been playing my best game but I saw and opportunity and ran back to pick off the ball and return it to around the ten. We then scored before the half and were able to win the game.
What are your goals for this coming season?
To be the best player I could in all aspects or wherever I am on the field and to win games in the playoffs.
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
The Pittsburgh Steelers
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game and why?
The rematch against Lakeland in the division semifinals game it was a back and forth game the whole time that we won in the last seconds and was such a good feeling to win.
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
My mom never really watched football unless I was playing so she probably is just yelling “Go Joey” as loud as possible while my dad is probably yelling something for me to try and do better.
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
I would love to return a kick or punt for a touchdown I never play either returner position but it would be so awesome to return a kick like 100 yards for a touchdown.
Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
I’d go rugby because it always seemed like a very interesting sport but I have no clue how I would have gotten into it around here
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
My little cousin santo sabatini I just remember from last year him always trying on my letterman jacket and paint his face up with me number.
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
Probably playing video games just to relax or watching a movie or one of my shows
What is your favorite football memory to date?
Listing to too easy by gunna in the locker room with the team after games we win it’s always so hype and the best moments
What is your favorite play to run?
2 tight end set dog left
Music of choice:
Kanye or rap
What was your favorite gift as a little boy? Why?
I’d have to say my dog Columbus me and my sister got him as a combined Christmas gift and he is definitely my favorite gift I’ve ever gotten and I still go on walks and play with him now.
What restaurant is your go to when you need a big meal?
Moes or pancheros I usually will build to giant burritos then devour them both like nothing.
Which one? Sheetz or Wawa
Sheetz all the way
What is your favorite vacation destination?
Lavalette New Jersey and the beach
Do you remember what the first football game you saw was?
I don’t remember the first football game I’ve seen on tv but I remember the first one I saw in person because it was the Steelers vs the bills in Buffalo and it was in the middle of a snow storm.
