Why do you play football?

I play football because it is by far my favorite sport, I love playing on Friday nights with all my teammates.

What has been your best memory?

Making the playoffs for the second time in school history last year, and winning the only playoff game in school history has been my best memory.

Who is your biggest fan and why?

My biggest fan is probably a tie between my grandparents and my little brother, who all come to every game they possibly can. They all support me during the game, after the game, and outside of football. I appreciate all three of them very much.

Who is your biggest role model?

My biggest role model is definitely my dad. He helps me with things on the football field, but also with lots of things outside of the football field. I am definitely a better person on and off the field because of watching him set an example over the years.

What is your desired major in college?

Undecided

In your opinion, where is the toughest place to play?

There are a few places that are tough to play at, but there is not one that really stands out over another place.

What is your personal goal for this year?

My goals for this year are to replicate last year’s success, and hopefully make and go further in the playoffs than we did last year.

Is a hot dog a sandwich?

Yes, a hot dog is definitely a sandwich. It is a piece of meat in between pieces of bread which makes it a sandwich.

Sport you’d love to play but can’t?

I would love to play volleyball, but I can’t because Big Spring doesn’t have a men’s volleyball team.

Most embarrassing sports moment?

When I was 11 years old, I was playing safety for our midget football team. It was a hail mary situation, and my coach told me whatever it took, don’t let anyone get behind me. The next play, I got burnt for a long gain. Luckily, my teammate chased him down and tackled him and we ended up winning the game. That was probably my most embarrassing sports moment.
