Head Coach Glen McNamee states that “Evan has been an important part of our offensive line the last two seasons and moves very well. He has great size (6-4 295). His weight room numbers are huge, and he translates that to a physical style of play.

Why do you play football?
I play football because I love the bonds, I build with people I go to school with.
What made James Madison your choice out of the schools that offered and showed interest in you?
JMU is a winning program, and they are contenders. I wanted to be a part of something like that. Location was a major factor in my college decision and JMU is only 2.5 hours away.
What other schools made your final list before choosing JMU?
The other finalists were ODU and the University of Buffalo.
What do you plan on majoring in upon enrolling in college?
Sports Marketing or Business.
Favorite class in school?
Chemistry
Favorite Athlete of all-time?
Joe Thomas, one of the best offensive linemen of his time and the reason I wear 73.
What was the 2022 season like for you?
It was a lot of ups and downs with injuries but one of the most fun years of football and the closest group of players I have ever been on.
2023 Individual goals and team goals?
Individual goals are not letting my QB get touched by any man. Team goals are work hard and make the doubters start to believe CD football is back.
All-time favorite football game to watch (College, HS or Pros)?
LSU v Alabama 2019.
Favorite Meal?
Steak with Mashed potatoes, asparagus, mushrooms & grilled onions.
Favorite play to run & why?
GT Counter, I love being able to pull as a tackle.
Outside of sports what are your hobbies?
Hunting & fishing
What scares you the most?
When my football career ends

My parents
What pregame music do you listen to as you prepare for games?
Metallica, Nardo Wick & Lil Baby.
Best teammate and why?
David Chase, he brought the best out of not just me but the rest of the team.

Linglestown Colts
What is something folks should know about Central Dauphin the school, the football players & coaches?
Our coaches are the best in the Mid Penn, they are all so close and a lot of them are alumni that know what it means to play for the green and white.
If you could meet one famous person dead or alive who would it be and why?
It would probably be Tom Brady because he’s the GOAT and I would love to talk with him about his football journey.
