LL all league first team linebacker and running back. I also led the 6a class in Pennsylvania in tackles with 127.

Why do you play football?

I play football just simply because I love it. I love that feeling of stepping on the field and competing with my guys.

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?

Saquon Barkley. My Dads friend used to coach him in high school and we would go to almost all of their games when I was a kid.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

My favorite play would have to be the 50 yards touchdown I had against Hempfield in the playoffs to go up 14-0.

What was last years season like for you?

Last season was a really good season for me. I was able to come into my own and really make a huge contribution to the team on both sides of the ball and even special teams.

What are your goals for this coming season?

My goals for the upcoming season are to go undefeated and win The State Championship. More goals would be being selected to the first string all state roster for offense and defense.

Cameron Jones

When did you start boxing?

I started boxing when I was young, probably at about 8 years old.

Why did you take up boxing?

I took up boxing because my Dad would train me and my brother.

Have you fought in competition?

I do not fight in competition. Boxing helps with my hand eye coordination, my endurance, my power and my stamina.

What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?

I would say the Rose Bowl stadium

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?

Dallas Cowboys

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?

2013 Iron Bowl

What would you do to improve the recruiting process?

The one thing I would do to improve the recruiting process is to have people stop worrying about the size of someone and start focusing on if they can play at that level or not.

Describe what the perfect teammate is

I would say the perfect teammate is someone who I you can rely on and trust to do his job.

Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community

I think football is good for the community because football can bring people together. When the football team is doing good then the town is doing good!

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

Throw a long touchdown pass.

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?

I’m going to have to say Jesus Christ. All that I am is because of him. And my Dad for not only getting me into the game of football but for always being there for me with everything.

What is your favorite practice drill? What is your least favorite practice drill?

Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?

My brother, Cade. He’s always giving me different tips and ways to improve my game. He’s always been there for me and supporting me no matter what, and we are just really close with each other.

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?

Basketball with my friends

What is your favorite football memory to date?

Beating Hempfield in the playoffs 42-7 in their own stadium.

What is your favorite play to run?

Off tackle run
