Why do you play football?

It was my first love. Ever since I was little and playing flag football, the only thing I ever wanted to do was put on a helmet and crush someone. To this day I have a timer set for the first game of the season on my phone. I love football, and I will never stop

Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?

James Harrison. Growing up, watching him play linebacker for the Steelers was incredible, he may not make the hall of fame, but when he was in the field, crazy things happened. Even still, as an older man he posts videos to his Instagram of him doing crazy workouts, and I’m still inspired to be like him.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:

My favorite play happened this past season against Gettysburg. They came up to our home field, Bostic, and were talking trash all game. They were supposed to crush us, and in the 4th quarter with time winding down, we get a crucial 3rd down stop, and they are forced to go for it on 4th down. They have no timeouts, and are forced to run hurry up, we rushed to the line, and made a ton of noise, then, their quarterback spikes the ball on 4th down.

What was last years season like for you?

It was incredible. As a sophmore, I started both ways all season, but I was still green. This year, I knew I belonged out there, and I feel I played like I did. It meant a lot to be on one of the most successful northern football teams in history, and hopefully we keep getting better.

What are your goals for this coming season?

Win it all. That’s the goal every year. I want nothing less, whether we have to go against the school next door, or the Cincinnati Bengals, every game is a new opportunity to take something and make it yours.

Who is the best player you ever lined up against?

I’m not sure about the spelling, but Exeter Twsp had a massive defensive lineman who they called big cheese, and he was a stud. I went toe to toe with him pretty well, he got the better of me a few times, but it was a good battle.

What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?

I’d love to go to beaver stadium for a Penn state whiteout game. The energy l, even through the tv, is like no other.

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?

The Steelers

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?

The Steelers cardinals Super Bowl is probably my favorite. Even though I wasn’t born yet, when I watch it back the tension is unreal, and you never really know what’s going to happen next. The final minutes of that game are some of the best football I’ve seen.

What would you do to improve the recruiting process?

I’m just now getting into it, so I’m not entirely sure how a lot of it works, but maybe

Describe what the perfect teammate is

Someone who is entirely bought into the team. Someone who shows up, works hard, and doesn’t play around. When you make a bad play, they don’t yell at you, they tell you to get up and hit your guy harder next time. A great teammate is someone who sees you going 75% at practice and forces you to raise your level.

Tell everyone why you think football is good for a community

Football brings people together. For those who play it, it creates friendships and brotherhoods that last a lifetime. I have sweat, bled, cried, and enjoyed some of my greatest moments with my teammates, and I have bonds now that will last me for my entire life. For those who watch it, they are still brought together. Hundreds, thousands even show up to Bostic field every Friday to cheer on the Bears, and rally behind one cause.

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

I’d love to get a pick six some day, as a d lineman, it is a very lofty goal, but I have a punt block td, and a scoop ajd score, so a pick six would be the next big thing to do.

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?

My mentor would probably be my mom. She is a great woman, and is always ready to drop whatever she’s doing to help those in need. After fighting cancer for 15 years, she has an excuse to pity herself, but she never has.

What is your favorite practice drill? What is your least favorite practice drill?

My favorite drill is probably the 1 on 1 pass rush drill. My least favorite drill is probably bags.

Preseason Two a Days are:

Where the real football players come to play

Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?

When I’m not doing anything sports related I like to longboard with my friends around toen

What is your favorite football memory to date?

Last preseason at Lebanon valley college football camp, staying up in the dorms with my teammates hanging out before practices.

What is your favorite play to run?

Trap. I like running it right up the middle into the heart of the defense, it is a test of will.

is a hot dog a sandwich?

No, ew

Music of choice:

Hip Hop

Best thing you ever got from a teammate? Why?

When our former quarterback Timmy Bonin graduated, he got all of the lineman a framed picture of him with us when the season was over. It not only meant a lot to me, but to the whole line, since we often don’t get the recognition we think we deserve.

Best Pizza topping?

Hawaiian

Which one? Sheetz or Wawa

Sheetz, easy

What is your favorite vacation destination?

The Beach

Do you remember what the first football game you saw was?

The 2011 Super Bowl between the Steelers and the Packers
