Why do you play football?
I play football because i love to compete. I love the feeling of pressure and having to be the best version of myself everyday, in order to help out my brothers fighting with me. Ever since day 1 when i put them pads on, football has just been apart of me and my life.
It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most?
make my linemen happy by doing my best as they fight for me.
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Saquon Barkley because he is not only a phenomenal player, but his work ethic inspires me. How he carry’s himself on and off the field is a class act and it motivates me to carry myself better. He also puts his linemen first, stating that he’s nothing without the guys up front. “how bout them boys upfront”
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
We just got an interception on the defensive side, and now we have the ball on the 3 yard line vs Lower Dolphin (last game of the year). Coach calls “Banker South,” which is a counter left play to me. Brady (my qb) said “Hike,” and i got on my horses for a 97 yard touchdown! Doing so, put me way over 1,000 yards and it also helped me break the all time rushing record.
What was last years season like for you?
not satisfied. plenty of things to work on and improve. i take last year as a learning point for myself knowing there’s way more left in the tank and there’s way more things to perfect my craft on.
What are your goals for this coming season?
another 1,000 yard season to top off my senior year, winning districts to see a smile on my team and coaches face, building chemistry with the new guys who are moving up, and going 10-0
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
Cole Bartram (Northern RB/LB)
When the game is on the line, which college/professional coach would you like to call in the play?
Who ever my head coach is at that time, i will trust.
What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?
Pittsburgh Steelers Stadium
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
Steelers
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
Eagles vs. Chiefs in the 2025 Super bowl because it was Saquons first ring
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
Remember The Titians
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
I am never able to tell because i block out the noise when I’m in the game
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Backwards hurdle
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
Jaymir Gibbs because he is a very complete back. Elite speed, Elite vision, Elite footwork, Great receiving back, Elite acceleration, Great attitude, team player
Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
the sport i love to play is the sport I’m able to do (football)
What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
dropping a simple swing pass out of the back field
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
Alexis (one of my sisters who passed away in 2016) because she was the most supportive, being always the loudest one in the crowd, truly be a representor of the Burnett family
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
Reading my Bible, because it’s always God first and without him I’m nothing
What is your favorite football memory to date?
Freshman year game against Susquehanna Township, when i had the game winning fumble recovery touchdown to win the division
What is your favorite play to run?
Outside zone to the right
What scares you the most?
Spiders

What was your favorite gift as a little boy? Why?
a console because that’s where most of my competitive habits came from. i always like to be the best at what I do no matter what that may be.

Buffalo Wild Wings

Myrtle Beach
Do you remember what the first football game you saw was?
my brother his freshman year when he played on Fairfield
