Coach Says: Hayden is a gritty player who works hard to make himself better. He is constantly going to extra workouts to make himself a better quarterback. He is very coachable and has great leadership qualities. An injury cut his season short last year after 4 games. I am looking forward to watching him play this season.
Why do you play football?
I play football because I’ve lived the sport since I was young but not only that I love the competition aspect and the grind it takes to become a good player throughout the offseason.
It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most?
on a gameday something I look forward to most is the anticipation before the the first kickoff
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
My favorite Sports star is probably Drew Brees just because of how influential he was and just being able to grow up watching him sling the rock was awesome.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
one of my favorite plays from this past season would have to be in our week 1 matchup against our rival susquinita, it was our first drive on offense and it was 3rd and 8 on their 45 yard line I believe, and I hit my wide receiver on a seem up the middle for the first TD of the game and just seeing the crowd light up was an awesome experience.
What was last years season like for you?
Last years season didn’t really go to plan as I got hurt in our week 4 game so it was a lot of sitting and watching, but I tried my best to be there for my team whenever they needed me after I got hurt
What are your goals for this coming season?
My goals for this upcoming season are to get over 2,000 total yards and throw less than 3 interceptions
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
the best player I have ever lined up against would probably have to be either td evans or Joshua nengite
When the game is on the line, which college/professional coach would you like to call in the play?
give me Mike Tomlin
What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?
a stadium that would be surreal to visit would probably be ohio state especially if they played Michigan.
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
my favorite pro team is the steelers.
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
my favorite game I have ever watched would have to be the 2018 game with the Steelers and the patriots because the year previous the refs made a horrible call with would ultimately make the Steelers lose that game and it was good seeing that revenge game.
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
Coach Carter because the message behind the story and it is very entertaining
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
usually my mom is whistling because I scored.
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
win a state championship
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My Dad is definitely my mentor because of the amount of work he puts in for me and my family, and he is just very influential for me
Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
probably lacrosse but our school doesn’t have it
If you could only drive one car for the rest of your life, what would it be?

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
probably fishing, I love just being outside and catching fish

my favorite football memory would just overall be my youth football teams season my last year.

What scares you the most?
getting hurt again, and not being able to succeed in life
What is the most food you ever ate in one sitting?
probably 6 lobsters, with corn and some broccoli
What restaurant is your go to when you need a big meal?
probably chipotle
What is your favorite vacation destination?
I would have to say Maine at my friend’s lake house
