Coach Says: Jamen will be entering this season as one of the top TE/DE’s in District 3. Jamen has started at both TE/DE and has worked very hard this off season to become the best player he can possibly be.
Why do you play football?
I play football because I love the game and everything that comes with it. I enjoy competing, working hard, and proving myself every time I step on the field. Football brings out the best in me.
It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most?
to be out there on the field and watch the crowd go crazy when ever I make a big play
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
My favorite sports star is Micah parson because I try to model my game after his
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
My first playoff game my freshman year on 4th&4 I got the game winning sack to move on to the next round of playoffs, as soon as the QB hit the ground the crowd exploded
What was last years season like for you?
I took a big jump from my freshman year to my sophomore year in terms of size and football IQ
What are your goals for this coming season?
My goals this season is to get first team all state for either tightend or defensive end

What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?
I would love to visit a Ohio state game
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
My favorite football team is the Ravens
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
My favorite game to watch was my own from when we played south western, we were down at halftime and came back and won 37-23, I also had 3 sacks and 6 tackles for loss and 10 tackles in total
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
Water boy because it’s the funniest sports movie ever
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
My mom is the loudest in the crowd so you can hear her pretty well, she usually says “GO BABY!”
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
I would say my mentor is my mom, as a single mother she is the strongest women I have ever laid my eyes on, without her I don’t know where I would be today

When I was somebody’s 100th win wrestling

Playing madden or watching football highlight because even off the field I have to keep football in my life
What is your favorite football memory to date?
When my teammates and I are just in the locker room just cracking jokes and messing around

I don’t really have one I like them all
What scares you the most?
Having a career ending injury

I went to shady Maple and had 7 full sized medium well stakes
