Why do you play football?
For myself, to make me a better man on and off the field. To play in college. But mostly because of my dad. He’s helped me through everything and got me to where I am now, so I just wanna make him proud too so he can stay by my side the rest of my football career.
It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most?
Winning and playing my heart out
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Cooper Dejean because I feel like we have a lot of the same traits at Safety and I look up to him, study his game because he is a dawg.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
First playoff game of my junior year vs Eastern York. I had the game winning interception and it just felt amazing. (First play on my highlight tape)
What was last years season like for you?
A lot better than I expected. That’s when I really fell in love with the game and knew I wanted to continue my football career after high school.
What are your goals for this coming season?
120 Tackles, 5+ Int. And All-State
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
Either someone from Susquehanna Township or Trinity. Not exactly sure.
When the game is on the line, which college/professional coach would you like to call in the play?
My HS coach.
What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?
Texas University
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
Philadelphia Eagles
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
My last game of my junior season vs west york 2nd round of playoffs. I love watching that game because that was the game I had the most tackles of the season and the whole game just felt slow to me and it just felt different. In a good way.
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
Gridiron Gang. I love that movie because I love how it shows how the whole team coming together and bonding, creating good chemistry throughout the whole movie after the whole team didn’t get along at all.
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
“Yeahhhhh, That a boy!”
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Anything’s possible
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My pops. He’s guided me through everything and has gotten me to where I am and where I want to be.
Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
None. I love football.
What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
My sophomore year football season. Mid game I ran over to the student section to get them all hype and they all just stared at me like I was crazy. And then one of my coaches grabbed me and threw me back on the sideline. At the time, I didn’t know that could’ve been a penalty. But the student section was lame and we needed some energy. 😂
If you could only drive one car for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Subaru WRX STI or a Toyota Supra
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
Hanging out family/Playing the game/Fishing
What is your favorite football memory to date?
My game winning interception in the first round playoffs vs Eastern York in my junior season.
