What does your offense need to improve on from last year?
We need to continue to build on our consistency we establish last season. We have a lot of talent at our skill positions that we need to utilize. We lost a lot of guys up front and we need some young guys to take control of those positions. We are really excited about what we have coming back and our new additions.
What does your defense need to improve on from last year
On defense we have to continue to improve on our tackling. Additionally, we have to sure up or perimeter and pass defense from last year. We changed schemes to put our players in better positions and now our guys have to familiarize themselves with their new roles. Our emphasis every year is to play F.A.S.T (Force Turnovers, Assignment, Sprint to the Football, and Tackle).
What are your overall thoughts on this years team?
We are really excited about the kids we are bring back and the ones coming up from our Jr. High. Our kids have worked hard in the off-season and are ready to hit the ground running in August. We need to continue to grow as a team and put ourselves in the right spots in all phases of the game. Last year each game was a new experience for us and we have to keep learning as we go.
