Manheim Central (10-1) @ Twin Valley (10-1) Friday – 7:00 pm

Twin Valley is the new guy. The Barons have been here before. Coach Dave Hahn knows how to win playoff games. But so does Brett Myers, he just hasn’t won any with the Raiders. Manheim enters the game coming off a 45-34 battle with Susquehanna Township while the Raiders had an easier game with ELCO. Will that be the difference? We’ll find out Friday. Zac Hahn continues to add to his over 2,300 yards and 33 tds and this Baron offense continues to score points almost at will. They’ll have to play ground control ball and get the rock in the hands of Brycen Armold to keep the Raiders offense, who can also score at will, off the field. Same goes for Manheim. Evan Myers is a threat to run and pass. Containment will be a key for the Barons. Brodie Daugherty, Zion Rolon and Bode Sipel have their work cut out for them. Two evenly matched teams. Huge game.

Lampeter-Strasburg (9-2) @ Bishop McDevitt (11-0) Friday – 7:00 pm

The Pioneers continue their workhorse season and escaped a touch East Penn team with a three point win. To even have a chance they will have to play the game of their lives.  Quarterback Trenton Wagner and running Back John Mellinger are the team leaders on offense, and they’ll have to pull the team with all they have. Defensively, keeping everything in front of them would help, but, you know Stone Saunders is going deep at times. So, position football for the Pioneers is probably the name of the game. For McDevitt, we know the story. Saunders is approaching the state record for TD passes in a season with 50 at the moment, 8 more gives him the record. Look for Rico Scott and Chase Regan to stretch the field and help Saunder approach that record. Defensively, the Crusaders are stout. This could actually be the better unit on the team. They are giving up just 12 points each outing, most coming in cleanup action.
