Line Mountain officially started their season on Friday night. Moving into the Mid Penn conference this, year the Eagles will be visiting some uncharted territory. They came up just short on the debut, Camp Hill 35, Line Mountain 28.

The first game of the season against Camp Hill started off rather slow with both teams touching the ball and no one in scoring position. A yardage loss from a Dominick Bridis sack pumped up the Eagles, but not enough to come back before halftime leaving the field trailing Camp Hill 14-0. Primed and ready after halftime, senior quarterback Jacob Feese brought in some yardage for the Eagles carrying the ball to the Eagles 10 yard line. A hand off to senior Beau Keim brought in the Eagles first touchdown. Brayden Boyers good kick brought the Eagles to 14-7.

Two more touchdowns for Camp Hill gave them a 28-7 lead. The Eagles still kept on fighting. Aiden Herb collected good yardage on a punt return and Jace Hackenburg’s catch brought Line Mountain to the Camp Hill 10 yard line. Feese’s keeper brought in the Eagles the second touchdown of the night and along with Boyers kick, the scoring gap got closer at 28-14. Camp Hill scored another touchdown the took the score to 35-14. On the following possession, a handoff to senior Garret Laudenslager brought in a first down for the Eagles. Feese then completed a pass to Hackenburg. A long run took the Eagles to the Camp Hill 3 yard line. Feese kept the ball and ran in for his second Line Mountain touchdown of the night.

Boyer was on fire tonight and made another good kick making the score 35-21. On their next drive, Feese and Laudenslager had back to back first down runs and a completed pass to Boyer got the Eagles closer to the end zone. A hand off to Laudenslager brought in another touchdown for the Eagles. Boyers kick was good once again, bringing the score to 35- 28. Line Mountain fought hard but still came up short.
