The master of the big play for Middletown was Junior running back Jose Lopez. Lopez scored five touchdowns.  He had TD runs 80 and 48 yards and a caught a screen pass as the first half ended and took it 50 yards for a score.

Middletown received the opening kick and got on the board quickly with a big run by Jose Lopez

Middletown’s next possession moved the ball deep into Wyo territory.  A nice defensive stand by the Spartans kept things close.

Lopez cashed in the next Middletown possession to give the Blue Raiders a 14-0 advantage.

The entire second quarter was a defensive stand off until the final play of the first half.  It was Jose Lopez’s turn to shine once again to make it 21-0 Middletown at the half. As you can see three seconds were left in the half.

Middletown’s first possession of the second half was culminated by another Lopez TD run to make it 28-0.

The flood gates really opened when Richie Sykes took it to the house for the Blue Raiders
