Cocalico Quarterback Noah Palm can sling the rock. He can run with it too.  Last year he accumulated over 2,000 yards of offence for Cocalico. But it’s the defensive side of the ball where he’s really dangerous.  So much so that the Wildcat coaching staff at New Hampshire wanted him to play safety for them.  They got their wish as Noah committed to their program 2 days ago.  He announced his decision on twitter:

We caught up with him to ask him about that decision:

PFN: How long have you played football?

Noah: I started playing football since I was 7 and never stopped playing

PFN: Why did you choose to commit to the UNH?

Noah: The coaches were great, the football team is very successful, and the campus is beautiful.

PFN: Why commit early?

Noah: I committed early because out of all the places I have been they have showed the most interest in me and I feel like they are excited to have me.

PFN: Who was your biggest influence at New Hampshire who recruited you?

Noah: My biggest influence was the safety coach, Coach Bowes. He is a really funny guy and full of energy.

PFN: What are they getting in player like you?

Noah: They are getting a hard working player on and off the field.

PFN: What was the recruiting process like for you?

Noah: It was a very busy. I attended a lot of college prospect camps.

PFN: What position were you recruited for?

Noah: I was recruiting for safety.

PFN: Do you know what you’d like to study?

Noah: No I do not know yet what I want to study.

PFN: What do you think is the most exciting thing about the Wildcat program?

Noah: They discussed all my options and encouraged me to go somewhere I love. They are a very successful program with great coaches and players.

PFN: Tell everyone out there in Wildcat land something they’d never know about you until you told them:

Noah: Not sure what to tell the people of wildcat land.

PFN: Who is the person who most influenced you in your football career?

Noah: There is more than one person who influenced me because my coaches and parents really believed in me and knew what I was capable of.

PFN: What is it you’d like all your high school team mates and fans to know about your decision that you might have a hard time saying in person?

Noah: There is nothing really I’m afraid to talk about to my teammates and fans.
