Coach says: Quade is extremely quick off the ball. Solid blocker on the oline. He has great “get off” and relentless pursuit on the defensive line. He is an excellent long-snapper. Rapid snaps with great accuracy.
Why do you play football?
I was Raised into It, My Father who is the Coach at West Perry had me fall in love with it at a Young Age. Also, It’s truly the greatest game in the world, The Team Bond and Character it brings out in people is amazing.
It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most?
Getting out of a Long Day of school and Hitting People with my teammates, There’s nothing like it.
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Though he is retired now, I would say Jack Cuvo, For the people who don’t know a whole lot about Wrestling, He was a 3x State Champion at Easton High School in the Lehigh Valley, He would Later on Wrestle at East Stroudsburg Where he was a D1 National Champion. Watching his matches on YouTube from When he was in High School Opened my eyes. He was in great shape and He never got tired in any of his matches even in the State Finals. He was very slick in the way he did things and was very Humble, as well as having the right Mindset to do so.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
When Bryce Smith batted down a pass with a couple seconds left in the Highly Anticipating Trinity Game to win it.
What was last years season like for you?
It was different, Freshman and Sophomore year was kind of a Learning year for me even though I was starting. But, Junior year I took a huge Jump and was one of our best Defensive Players overall.
What are your goals for this coming season?
Play as many games as I possibly can with my Team this year. It’s not about myself, It is about Our Team.
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
Connor Black from Big Spring. He was a Big Linebacker and Tough to Block and Move.
What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?
The Seattle Seahawks Stadium.
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
The Philadelphia Eagles
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
The 2018 NFC Championship Game, It was cool to see my Favorite Team play for a Super Bowl and It was cool to see the City of Philadelphia come together.
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
Remember the Titans. It was cool to see a team that hated each other at first come together and win the Greatest High School Accolade.
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
Well I can never hear my mom in the stands because im so locked in on the game, and my Dad is on the field. But, I can hear my dad yelling at me to keep driving my feet on blocks.
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Get a Pick-6 as a Defensive Lineman
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My Dad. He is a very good person and Raises me well.
Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
Hockey, I am a horrible Fighter but I think it would be cool to Check some people once in a while.
What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
Getting Decked by a Guard who pulled in a game last year against Big Spring, They ran right into C Gap, which I was suppost to Cover, Leading to a long Touchdown.
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
My Grandmother, She is at all my events and She supports me in everything I do.
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
Fishing, Me and my Buddies like to go around the Creeks and Ponds in Perry County finding where we can Catch Big Fish
What is your favorite football memory to date?
Winning the Super Bowl in 3rd Grade with the Team I played with up to my Junior Year in Double Overtime.
What is your favorite play to run?
I don’t want to give My Teams Playbook away, But I would like to come back and be a Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator some day. I would say Im going to run alot of Dives if so.
What scares you the most?
Heights, Can’t stand them.
What restaurant is your go to when you need a big meal?
Red Lobster, I don’t get big meals there, But there Biscuits are One of a kind.
What is your favorite vacation destination?
Any sort of Lakehouse, I love to hang out with my friends that go and I love to go fishing there.
Do you remember what the first football game you saw was?
The Ravens and 49ers Super Bowl, When the Lights went out Mid Game.
