Springfling 2026 kicks off camp season for Harrisburg teams (video recap/photos)

Joe Headen, head coach of Susquehanna Township, hosted 10 teams in a workout/7v7 atmosphere in front of 40+ college coaches. Cumberland Valley, CD East, Central Dauphin, Manheim Twp, Gettysburg, Steelton-Highspire, Middletown, Central York, Harrisburg and Township players participated in drills, A tug of war contest, one on one and modified 7v7 tourney. It certainly felt like football season this mid May day but judging from the excitement and intensity, it seems the players enjoyed the night. Former Steel-High greats Alex and Andrew Erby were there to support the athletes and added a few words of encouragement and advice (see video).
