Liam Sheehan’s high school football career isn’t over but he already knows where he wants to play his college ball. He announced on twitter that he’s going to attend Sacred Heart and play football for the Pioneers in college. If that goes anything like his high school career he’ll have a stellar college career too. During his time on varsity at Twin Valley they have only lost 6 games, one of them last year in the state finals. A 6-4, 275 pounds he’s got the frame for college ball and the plus size is it’s a very lean body carrying strength.
“He played varsity as a sophomore so he’s basically only lost 4 games” says Head Coach Brett Myers. “There wasn’t many times we couldn’t run left. He’s so lean, his flex is different than most kids his size. And because of the way he’s built he’s able to play with leverage and as plays as well as any other player we’ve had here. We had what, three d1 linemen in 4 years? We have sent some real good guys on the line to college and he’s good as any of them. Thing is, even going against talent like Aliquippa had, he never flinched. Even on defense he had a sack. They’re getting a darned good player”.
