York Suburban captured a 28-12 win against league rival West York on Saturday.

The Trojans started the game on fire with 3 touchdowns in the last 5 minutes of the first quarter to put them up 21-0, with 2 being scored by sophomore Cj Rissmiller and one by Donovan Alicea. The Trojan’s defense was able to hold off the Bulldogs until the final minutes of the half, where West York’s Malik Cain found the endzone to put them on the scoreboard.

The third quarter saw both defenses perform well and no points were scored, but the fourth quarter was a different story. Cj Rissmiller ran the ball in for his third touchdown of the game to put the Trojans up 28-6 with 10 minutes left in the game. West York would score one more with a diving touchdown by Issac Roberts, but it was not enough to hold back the Trojans.

With the win, York Suburban goes to 2-2, while West York falls to 0-4.  Next week the Trojans host New Oxford to try and continue their 2-game win streak, and West York travels to Kennard-Dale.
