2022 NTL Large School Division Preview

In 2021 the Northern Tier League had one of their most successful season as the Canton Warriors, the Large School Division champions, reached the PIAA state semi-finals against Bishop Guilfoyle. Both the Warriors and Small School Division champions Muncy both finished undefeated in their divisions.

Season Outlook: “We bring back 8 starters on both sides of the ball. We have grown our team from 23 players last year to 36 this year. We hope to combine our experience with some of the new youth we bring in. I think we can be very competitive and with added numbers we should be able to get guys off the field to get rest this year. We do have a very difficult schedule this year. The league will be very tough, and our non league games are equally tough.”

Season Outlook: “The Panthers will have a new look this year without long time (28 years) Head Coach Tom Dickinson. Chris Olson takes over as the new HC after playing for Coach Dickinson and coaching beside him for 24 years. The Panthers will look to build on the strong sophomore season of Karson Dominick at QB and will lean on two year starter at running back Kohen Leahman. Jacob Johnson, a 3 year starter, will solidify both the OL an DL.”

Season Outlook: “The Wyalusing Rams look to build off of a strong offensive group returning for the 2022 season. The offensive and defensive line that the Rams have this year will be sure to turn some heads with their size and strength. With Cade McMicken at starting quarterback, who brings years of experience to the field, the Rams hope to capitalize on everything the team learned last season and make a run for the NTL title.”
