Why do you play football?
Football changed my life from a young age and I love the game. It has taught me so many values that are pivotal to my life in all aspects.

Who is your favorite sports star and why?
My favorite sports star is JJ Watt because he is not only a tenacious and physical football player, but a model person off the field as well.

Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
In 9th grade, we played Selinsgrove. We were down big early on and had no momentum. However, I forced a strip-sack which led to a touchdown and turned the tide of the game.

What are your goals for this coming season?
My goal for this coming season is to help lead my team to another championship.

What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
Pittsburgh Steelers

What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game and why?
My favorite game was when we played Richland in the State Quarterfinals. They were very talented and many were expecting a close game. However, we played tremendously well and won the game handily. That gave us the momentum which led us to a state title.

What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
Rocky because it shows how underdogs can persevere and win with hard work and dedication.

If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
“Sack that quarterback!”, “C’mon Gav!”

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Play Offensive or Defensive Line

Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My grandfather is my mentor because he taught me the value of working hard to get what you want.

Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
Lacrosse

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
In my first year of track and field, my coach told me to try hurdles a few days before our first meet. I tripped over the first hurdle.

Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
Yes, my brother is my biggest fan because he is always keeping track of me and how I perform. He also constantly is willing to help me train and improve my game.

When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
Cooking because I like creating healthy and unique meals.

What is your favorite football memory to date?
Winning the State Championship this past year.

What is your favorite play to run?
OLB Blitz/FB Belly

What scares you the most?
My mother when she is angry.

Music of choice:
Varies based on the situation. I like rap, country, jazz, pop, rock, and alternative rock.

What was your favorite gift as a little boy? Why?
My favorite gift as a boy was my basketball hoop because I still use it all the time to this day for fun and to exercise.

What restaurant is your go to when you need a big meal?
Olive Garden because of the endless soup, salad, and breadsticks.

What is your favorite vacation destination?
Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming

Do you remember what the first football game you saw was?
My brother’s midget football game for the Catawissa Redskins.
