LET’S GET TO KNOW THOMAS
Why do you play football?
Football is unlike any other sport. You form bonds with people you never thought you would, and the game is played with so much emotion and passion. You can also hit people. That’s a plus.
It’s gameday! What are you looking forward to the most?
Getting on the field and causing damage.
Who is your favorite sports star and WHY?
Troy Polamalu. He brought an energy to the game that is unmatched by any other modern player.
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
Back in junior high we went for a two point conversion. I was playing guard at the time and our running back dropped the ball. My instincts took over and I picked up the ball and scored.
What was last years season like for you?
Sophomore year was a mixed bag. In the moment I thought I did well, but looking back I know what I could’ve done to better help the team
What are your goals for this coming season?
I want my team to win above everything else. Winning season and playoff wins are a must.
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
Matt Scicchitano.
What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?
I’ve always been a Penn State fan so a tour of Beaver Stadium would be great.
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
Steelers
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
Penn State v Ohio State in 2016. So much talent on the field, and of course a Penn State win.
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
Rookie of the year was a classic that I used to watch all the time as a kid.
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?
Well my Mom would probably be yelling about me possibly getting hurt, and my Dad would be on the sideline yelling at me to hit my block.
Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Scoop up a fumble for a Touchdown
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
To be honest, I don’t really have a mentor, I just keep myself motivated
Name a sport you’d love to play but can’t:
Basketball looks really fun, but I don’t have a jumper so that would be a problem.
What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
Is there anyone in your family, besides your parents, you could consider your biggest fan? Who, Why?
When you aren’t playing, practicing or training for sports, what is your go to activity and why?
I enjoy listening to music. It can help clear your head and helps me relax.
What is your favorite football memory to date?
Upset win against Danville in the Super Bowl.
What is your favorite play to run?
Back in midgets we ran the wedge. It worked every time.
What scares you the most?
Music of choice:
Rap music
What was your favorite gift as a little boy? Why?
What restaurant is your go to when you need a big meal?
Olive Garden has those endless breadsticks. So I gotta go with that.
