Coach Brandon Carson says “Ian has been the hardest working athlete on the team in the offseason the past 2 years. Highly motivated and driven to succeed. Started at DB as a Freshman and got some time offensively at WR and a little at TB. When Nolan Baumert was injured in game 4 last year, Ian was willing and more than able to shoulder the load offensively for us. He turned that into an extremely impressive sophomore campaign and became the first ever sophomore 1,000 yard rusher in school history. Was the league Offensive MVP. Ian has the desire to learn and keep improving every day. He is very coachable and truly takes feedback and tries his best to use it in his game to do what is needed to be his best and do what is needed for the team. Has huge goals for our team and himself and will do everything within his power to reach them. Is a very good CB, catches the ball extremely well at WR and out of the backfield, and runs extremely hard. Has great vision and feet. We are all excited for Ian and his next 2 seasons and to see how his hard work pays off for him and the team. Super humble and a great person off the field as well”.

Because I want to go to the nfl and I want to be able to go to college for on a scholarship

Reggie bush because he’s someone I model my game after
Do you have a favorite play you remember the most? Explain:
Marion catholic my first long run of the year I went 70 yards untouched Down the middle of the field
What was last years season like for you?
It’s was a big year but a stepping stone to go into this year a play better
What are your goals for this coming season?
2000 rushing yards and win our conference
Who is the best player you ever lined up against?
I don’t know his name but 9 from middle town my freshman year was a giant so probably him
What stadium, HS/college/pro would you love to visit for a game?
University of Florida
What is your favorite Pro team, any sport?
Jaguars
What game, yours, college or pro, was your favorite game you watched and why?
Probably Michigan vs Ohio state last year
What sports movie would you watch every day if you had to pick one and why?
Rocky because it’s the ultimate underdog story and I love that kind of stuff
If your mom and dad are screaming at you from the stands, what is it they usually yell?

Name one thing that you’d love to do in football that may never happen?
Win a Super Bowl
Who is your mentor, the person you want to be like? WHY?
My dad we do everything football related together and he’s the hardest worker i know so I try and be like him

Every game when I try and put my pads on over my head in pregame
