Friday night in a rainy game the Lewisburg Green Dragons took down the Mifflinburg Wildcats 12-6. It was a game of defense for the Green Dragons. Junior Cam Michaels intercepted Wildcats quarterback Tony Dressler three times.
The game’s first touchdown came from Owen Ordonez on a 41-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Wade Young. This gave the Green Dragons a 6-0 lead midway through the third quarter. Later in the game backup quarterback, Zander Walter connected with Logan Callison from 27 yards out for the touchdown. After a failed two-point conversion the Green Dragons led 12-0. Troy Dressler would add a four-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter to make the score 12-6 which would be the final on the night.
For Lewisburg, they will advance to the District 4 Class 4A playoffs and will face the number one seed Jersey Shore Bulldogs. For the Mifflinburg Wildcats there season has come to an end.
