NTL Football Media Day

Ten teams from the Northern Tier League took part in yesterday’s Media Day just across the border in Waverly, NY at Shepard Hills Country Club.

The teams in attendance were: Athens, Canton, Cowanesque Valley, North Penn-Mansfield, Northwest Area, Sayre, Towanda, Troy, Wellsboro, and Wyalusing. CMVT, Montgomery, Muncy, and South Williamsport were absent.

This year five new head coaches will man the sidelines for their respective schools: Shawn Bradley, Athens; Cory Tice, Montgomery; Jed Wright, North Penn-Mansfield; Leigh Bonczewski, Northwest Area, and Richard Rogers, Wyalusing. Plus, the Sayre Redskins are back on the field after not being able to field a team in 2022.

Look for previews of both the NTL Large School and Small School Divisions in a couple of weeks.
