PFN Coaches 2A All State Team is released

The Pennsylvania Coaches have released their PA All-State 2A teams with Coach of the Year honors going to the leader of the State Champions HC Jim Roth who led the team to its 7th straight state title. The state coaches voted Southern Columbia’s Sr. LB Garrett Garcia as the Player of the Year. The Tigers placed 3 players on the first team. Garrett received honors as POY and 1st team LB while Sr. RB Louden Murphy & Sr. DT Issac Carter also earned first team honors. Also earning honors as a 2nd team MLB were Jr. LB Dominic Fetterolf. State runner up Westinghouse placed 3 players on the 1st team with Sr. DE Michael Richardson, Sr. NG Sincere Shannon, Sr. Safety Taymir O’Neal. In District 12 West Catholic Senior DL Jayzen Flint was named 2nd team all-state by the coaches. Jayzen recently signed his letter of intent with Boston College. He finished his senior season with 73 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 FF, 1 FR, 1 rushing score & 2 receiving scores.
