Coach Says: Garret will be our QB1 this season, and he is more than ready for the opportunity. At 6’4″ and 200 pounds, he has the prototypical size for a high school quarterback, along with a strong arm and the athleticism to make plays both inside and outside the pocket.
What excites me most is the growth we saw from him last season. Midway through the year, something clicked on the defensive side of the ball, and Garret became a player we could count on to make plays in critical moments. He took ownership of his role, played with confidence, and earned the trust of his teammates and coaches.
We expect that same leadership and playmaking ability from him at quarterback. Much like his personality, Garret is steady and dependable. He never gets too high or too low, stays focused on the task at hand, and approaches every day with a business-like mindset. He is a competitor who gives everything he has on every snap and is committed to being the best version of himself. Those qualities make him the type of leader you want leading your football team.

Frustrating as QB2, but I got to play in the secondary which helped me understand better as an offensive player
